B.Ed 263 School Organization and Management (3 Credits)

Students will undertake this course on school organization and management to learn about new approaches to school leadership. In this course, students will specifically discuss and examine innovative models of school organization and management that distribute roles and responsibilities in an innovative way.

Learning Outcomes:

  • Learn how to establish a positive climate at school, organize a classroom.
  • Develop rules, routines and procedures.
  • Learn how to assign and manage work.
  • Understand processes in preparing for instruction, managing behavior and maintaining momentum.
  • Learn how to foster student involvement and cooperation in all classroom activities.
  • Establish a productive working environment.
