PSY 526 DIVERSITY ISSUES IN CLINICAL PSYCHOLOGY (3 Credits)

Minority issues as they affect psychological testing and psychotherapy. Women's issues, issues of color, religion, ethnicity, sexual orientation, differing physical abilities and age.

Learning Outcomes:

  • a proficiency in reading and writing within the conceptual framework of diversity issues in psychology;
  • an oral proficiency in understanding the genesis of diversity issues in psychology;
  • an ability to identify, analyze, and question the origin of various analysis models and a familiarity with understanding the rationale of diversity issues in psychology within a society.
